Well, this is why I'm asking. The second print (which isn't really a second print because it's actually got MORE content that the original hardcover) has a brand new cover by Stan anyhow. I was wondering if the version Stan plans to sell himself will have a different cover to THAT one which is solicited in Diamond previews. So we will get two versions of the "second print", each with a brand new cover to any of the previous.

Yep. A different, brand new cover for the Sakai exclusive as well.

edit: Stan just posted the cover art process for the Sakai exclusive cover on his Facebook page (I've also cross-posted it to the Dojo Facebook page).

With a March 21st release date for the standard 2nd printing cover for comic shops, I assume these will be available on Stan's site in March with a signed option(maybe earlier, fingers crossed)

This is supposed to be a Sakai-Exclusive Variant only available through me. However, I have been hesitant because there was supposed to have been a Sakai Variant HC for the original edition which did not happen. If we do get it in, Daniel will have it available through my website.

So does this mean there'll be no hardcover with the four turtles and Usagi on the rock outcropping with the orange light from the setting/rising sun (like the cover on Sakai exclusive SC)?
(Sorry for the description... I haven't sussed out how to post images.)

You are correct. That was originally going to be the cover for both the softcover and hardcover Sakai exclusives, but now the Sakai Exclusive hardcover will only use the new cover (assuming the order gets processed through this time

).

IDW booth at WonderCon had the variant cover of the Expanded Edition when I went today (the bottom picture in maichan's post above). I didn't realize it was the variant at the time, so didn't pick it up, thinking I'd get it directly from Stan at a later date. Guess I'll get a copy tomorrow since I don't know how limited the variant version will be.

I'll have to check with my local CBS to see if they will get the Expanded Edition. Of course I plan the get the Sakai exclusive directly from Stan once they go on sale.

I think the regular Expanded Edition is supposed to come out April 11th. If your comic shop can't get it for you, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to pick it up from Amazon, though generally they get their comics 2 weeks later than the comic shops.
