Bushido Blade

Tenchu

Kingdom Hearts? No, KH has nothing to do with either samurai or ninja, it has a cameo of Yuffie, who is a ninja but beyond that, nada. It's an RPG by Square with a Disney theme. Final Fantasy I-XI would be more accurate, they have ninja classes in them or an actual ninja, excluding IV, VIII, IX and X. Unless you mean KH is one of your favorites.

I quite like the Onimusha series (although I've yet to play the latest, despite my joy at Jean Reno's role in it). I hadn't played Bushido Blade in for years, and... wow, it WAS super great in it's day, but it's kind of hard to look at now.
but now my PS2 is broken and i hate sony forever.

I don't know what other people do to their playstations-- the one we got in '98 is just fine, as is the PS2 of 2002. Treat them nice, they treat you nice!

There are many samurai / ninja games that I haven't played yet, (Tenchu, Bushido Blade, etc...) so I guess that I should commit seppuku. But since everybody's adding their games, I will add my own:

Half-Life

Yes, there are ninja in it. This game absolutely blew my mind away, and I just can't wait to Christmas to play Half-Life 2 :D :D :D

I've owned HL2 for a week and CS:Source for over a month....and the Metroid series and Half-Life series do not have anything to do with Samurai.

Half-Life may not have samurai in it, but they do have stealthy guys dressing in black pajamas constantly trying to kill you silently. They sure look like ninja to me ;) .

And Counter-Strike was fun for a while, but I prefer games which rely purely on skill rather than luck (yes, the first shot of the AK is always precise, but when you meet your enemy on a rush you rely only on the chance that your weapon will hit your enemy instead of the wall, and seeing people just playing on cs_dust and cs_aztek gets really old.)

What? No mention of NEO-GEO's Last Blade 1 & 2???? That is an awesome one. It's a great game.

Among the Samurai Shodown series, what's people's favorite characters? Genan and Ukyo are my favorites. Genan is the first I took to. Ukyo really reminds me of the arch-type samurai like Usagi. When I imagine Usagi executing moves taught to him, in my imagination he strikes in the same style and fashion. The expression on their faces seem to convey the same calmness.

Last Blade and Samurai Shodown 2 have are the most stylish of all games I've played with Samurai characters in them. Then again, those are few and far for me.

Did anyone mention that comical one called Musashi for the Playstation?

Recently I've came upon a good samurai action game, called "Legend of Shadow". It's a freeware remake of a NES game called "Legend of Kage".
More info on it: http://www.remakes.org/website/comp2004 ... .php?id=57.
