I decided to ask DCBS if they'd sell the variants for cover price if I purchased 50 copies of Usagi #1. Five copies at 50% off and forty-five copies at 35% off.

Their response was they do not offer the option to purchase a certain quantity of an item to receive the corresponding incentive variants. Now that's a mouthful.

My local comic shop only received one of the posters and they promptly hung it on their wall after they got it.

I guess that means I am in need of one of Kyle's extras, if he would be kind enough to let me get one from him.....

That leaves me a couple more, if anybody else needs one. Just an FYI, these are a lot cheaper quality than the ComicsPRO prints, so if you don't want to pay shipping for just this, I can hang onto them for you until the inevitable SDCC shopping and send it with that stuff. Or I can send it by itself. I'm fine with either.

FYI: I just got back from the comic shop and there were no posters available. They didn't even have copies of Comic Shop News. But I can live without the CSN.

Anyway, did I mention how hot it is outside?

I haven't been in to my local comic shop for a while, but last time I asked they said they'd order 50 books to get all the variants, so I should be covered for one of each. The shop said IDW has a return policy, so the shop can return unsold issues if it comes down to that.
