I'll post any new information that Stan talks about on the panels here on the forum, probably in this very thread. If anything is a really big announcement that justifies its own thread, then I'll start a thread about just that topic.

I think you're correct, with 26 covers after the Incredible Con cover comes out.

And I hear that since Legends received all but 90 or so damaged, they sold the 90 undamaged covers (virgin, no titles) and that the reprint to replace the other 410 or so covers won't be a virgin cover, but will have the title on it. So that might be a 27th cover (if you're getting all the variations).

For anyone wondering, the cover not featured on the inside back of issue #1 is the touring cover. Indeed, there are currently 25, 26 with the second print. And thanks for the info there Kyle, so potentially we've (as in us here at the Dojo, as you received your order) got an uber limited variant of a variant? Maybe I'll sling Legends an email just to ask how to get one on the reprint list heh.

That will make 27 covers as Legend will have both a regular and virgin cover (like Paradise) now. Any chance of adding the reprinted non-variant cover to the group buy.

I talked to Buzz yesterday (which was delightful) at a signing and he told me there won’t be any virgin cover reprinting. I guess you can never say never, but he is in the know, so I would say no.

Well, I don't normally post private conversations online, but I just received this message from Legends Comics and Games (Fresno).

ME: Hello, How many of these do you have left? I'm waiting to see if I can get one through the Usagi Yojimbo DojoBoard before buying one here. Thank you

THEM: I have about 6 left. IDW just told us that they will replace the damaged copies. If you're not in a rush, we should have them some time in August. We'll have them at our normal $30 price once we confirm that they are not damaged like the original run.

ME: If they are still going to be the virgin cover then I'll wait. Thank you.

THEM: Yes, they will be the virgin cover.

I'd guess that Buzz was probably misinformed then, as he's probably not involved in the ordering process. So I guess they'll be less rare eventually. I wonder if there will be a 1st printing/2nd printing note on the inside of the cover?

While I have no information on this I suspect if they are just replacing damages it will be concerned as though they are extending the print run and not doing a second print.

Although if they print them at the same time the second print is going to press then it might just carry the second print notation for convenience assuming the second print is noted in the indica not the cover.
