Re: Got Moebius
Dear go,
Thank you for sharing your Moebius collection with us.
Dear UYDers,
Yes, it was me that asked go to share some of his Moebius collection and art with us.
Of all the comic book artists out there, I think it was Moebius that really started it all for me. I was a teenager during the 1970's. I was a fan of fantasy and sci-fi art, including the works of such artists as Frank Frazetta, Roger Dean, Chris Achilleos and many more. At that time I wasn't really into comics until I came across a new magazine called Heavy Metal. It was the American version of the French magazine Métal hurlant. This magazine introduced me to art and artists that were unlike the typical fodder of American comics. I fell in love with Arzach and this mysterious artist known as Moebius.
While I don't have any actual art by Moebius, I do have quite a few books... for some reason I avoided the Blueberry books, but I hope to remedy that one day.
Early graphic novels and Epics series.
