January 12 and 13 are celebrated as Seijin no Hi or Coming of Age Day. Those who have reached the age of 20 are welcomed into the ranks of adults.

YAAAAY! That includes ME! I just turned twenty! So are people supposed to give me presents, or vice versa, or do I have to go through a ritual, or what?

What is the staute of limitations on this? I'll be 29 in March. Do you suppose I could hold this against my parents? :) Just kidding!
Congratulations to all of you who are "Coming of Age" this year!
