Two observations ...

Post by Guest »

Excuse this humble visitor of no discernible merit disturbing the harmony of the dojo;
My name is Nils. I have taken an interest in Usagi Yojimbo for the last ten years, but only the last two has it been possible to get a full set of the pocket books here - I think. Anyway.
I have made two observations. One is that if a person, previously unknown, adresses Usagi with a wail, he or she will later be found to be the ghost of somebody ... such as the mother who planted the cucumbers, and the little girl who led U through the winter landscape ... generalisation based on too few observations?
Second: There appear to be beams along the walls in rooms high enough - they are used by some creatures while attacking, taunting, or just spying on people - but it appears they are only used by Obaké-mono or ninjas ... also generalisation based on etc?

TIA

I don't remember Fumi-chan wailing at Usagi in Promise in the Snow. But I don't have the book at hand. She did make him promise to deliver her father safely back to his village.

Those beams are part of the homes. Not too many people, aside from ninja or bakemono, can jump up there. Also tokage like to roost up there.
