Has it not shipped yet or did I miss it?

Sorry if this question has been answered already on this forum, but I couldn't find it.

It is at the printer now, and should be out in mid-July. Blame Frank Miller for the delay (I say this tongue in cheek). His marvelous Sin City movie had Editor Diana working overtime in getting his Sin City books back in print, that her other projects were put on hold for awhile.

Ah! Good news about it being at the printer.

I was about to ask the same question, but Tek beat me to it.

And, I like Mr. Miller's work as well, he just needs to keep out of the way when it is Ronin Rabbit time. :D

The way we collect Usagi around my house is that my sons and I read the comics as they get published, then my kids get to keep the individual issues, while I get to keep the trades on the bookshelf. I thought UY Book #19 was due out earlier, and now the mystery is solved.

Does this mean the next trade (#20) will be be pushed back as well or will we see a solicit for this soon?

Thanks for the info, and the great work!

UY Book 20: Glimpses of Death has not been scheduled yet, and, frankly, I don't think Editor Diana even wants to think about that right not. She's still getting caught up with her late books to plan any new ones. I've got two more chapters of Mother of Mountains to draw up, and have to think up a story for UY 90. So I don't want to paint another cover right now. Also the summer con season has already started, and that really messes up deadlines.

For all English fans.

Looking on Amazon.co.uk book 19 will be out 1st of August and you can pre-book it if you wish. Price is under £8, its £7 something, cant remember.

I'll see if I can order some books I dont have soon, i'd like to get shrouded moon (story about kitsune), book 4 (which isnt around, im told it is getting re-printed) and the art of UY which is at a great price.
(dotting around £15/16 which is nearly $30 if anyone was wondering)

Here is a link that states that Book 19 is due out on August 31, 2005.

The sooner we get it the better, but I can be patient.

Enjoy the summer everybody!

I'm expecting a limited number of the Book 19 trades just in time for the San Diego Con. I hope that Dark Horse will also have the new trade for sale at their booth.

Just as an update to this thread, I checked the diamond comics shipping list today and it states that Book 19 fathers & sons will ship this week!

See link below:

http://www.diamondcomics.com/shipping/s ... 072705.txt

This is great news for me as I have been following Usagi now for 1 full year and this is a great way to mark that anniversary, as the stories contained within book 19, I have yet to read!

Can't wait!!

I picked up the trade paperback for volume #19 today (late birthday present for one of my nephews). Also picked up the newest reprint of volume #4 (for my other nephew's late birthday present). Between the two of them, they have the whole series now, except volume #6 for some reason. (I Thought I'd bought them that one, but must have missed it)

The newest one (Fathers and Sons) has a great photo of Stan and his son Mathew taken recently at Niagara Falls. Fitting :D

Abayo...
