Cool, thanks for the heads up Steve! Thats a nice touch on the pic with Stan & his son.

Sounds like a great fathers day gift for next year, if your father is a Usagi fan that is, if not then you can convert him! hehe

Cheers!

I picked up my copy of book 19 today along with the 2006 wall calendar (a must have for any Usagi fan!), I'm just about to sit down to read, but I figured I'd post here first.

I'm curious does anyone know what issues Book 20 will encompass? Any possible release date? Before years end? I hope!

Cheers!

I've just gotten thru book 19 and I'm absolutely in awe :o of all those stories most particularly the last one entitled Hokashi.

The ending is very emotional & touching, I wont ruin it for anyone just in case they havent read it yet, but it ties into the theme of fathers & sons as thats book 19's title.

Great characters, dialogue and story with intensity that leaps from the page, as we have come to know and enjoy from all the Usagi books!

If you haven't picked up book 19 yet what are you waiting for, go do it now!!

Howdy,

I bought Book 19 yesterday at the Friendly Neighborhood Comic Shop. Finished it this morning.

Gaaaaah!!!! But....but....Usagi and Jotaro....it's....they....

GAAAAAAHH!!!!

Stan Sakai, you drive me crazy, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. I find that it takes something earthshaking to get me to stop reading an UY trade once I start, and yet I find that finishing one doesn't satisfy me as much as it just makes me want to get more. UY 19 was no exception, and was also one of the finest, and most heartbreaking, reads I've had all year.

But you still drive me crazy.

Another incredible volume. Well worth the wait.

As has been said, the ending was extremely powerful. I also parituclarly enjoyed the story of Katsuichi and his lost love.
Life goes on
Same old song
It's not what you get
It's what you make of it
Don't be rushed, take your time
Soon they'll see, we all gonna shine
