Marathon reading of UY from beginning to current issues
How many people here have ever attempted a marathon reading of every issue of UY produced so far within a fairly short period of time? (Like, say, a few weeks) I think I might attempt a marathon reading of UY from the very beginning all the way to the current issues sometime soon. There are a few Dark Horse TPBs that I don't have yet, but I plan to get them pretty soon.
I would also like to do the same thing with Groo sometime, but I only have a fairly small fraction of all issues of Groo produced thus far, and acquiring all of it would probably be pretty difficult (I'd love to live somewhere with a library that had complete runs of every UY and Groo issue produced to date).

I can assure you, just one rainy weekend won't be enough; I've got all the TPBs or HCs plus the issues up to date and I've been reading them time and again.
It takes me about 4-6 days, depending on how demanding my family is...
Undisturbed? Well, how could I tell....
Ok, maybe I'm a slow reader, but I know the text by heart and kind of flow through the stories, if you know what I mean.

I started off doing this but must admit I stopped by trade 10 when I got caught up in some stuff at home. I need to continue reading them. The OCD in me wants to start again from book one, but I really want to see what happens next, so I might just continue from 10 and then one day do the marthon for fun.

@ oxthowe: Which TPB do you still need? I've got a couple of spare ones...# 10, #11, #17, and #18.oxthowe wrote:i've done a marathon with the tpb's i DO have, but sadly my collection is incomplete. Also, I'm not the most delicate person in the world and am scared to death of unbagging my single issues.
PM me if you are interested.
