More Usagi Phantom cards

Post by Gaffey »

I'm having a good card week.

One of the dealers I frequent has found 2 more of the Usagi Phantom cards. These aren't Mint like the previous cards, but if you're interested just send me a PM. FREE!!!

If you live within the U.S. I'll take care of the postage. If you're outside of the U.S. I'd have to see what shipping is. (I still have no idea what it costs)

When I said frequent, I should have added on the internet. I'm not sure Todd would want me to promote stores here. I've done that before and kind of felt bad about it afterwards. I can tell you that I've received cards/books from Australia, Washington, California, Ohio, and right here in Florida. Remember, Google is your friend.

I was just joking about the dealer thing. We all have our own secrets for stores.

STAN needs one

Hello Gaffey,

Mr. Sakai said in a different thread that he never got one. You should offer the last one to him.

Peace,

Does your secret dealer have any of the "Famous Comic Book Creators" cards featuring Stan Sakai? They are pretty neat, but not mentioned very frequently.

They're always on eBay in one form or another. Plus they're cheap. An unopened box will cost you $15 when an unopened box of Phantom Gallery is closer to $50.

Were you referring to me when talking about secret dealers? I don't mind saying where I buy my stuff. I just thought Todd would prefer people go to the Buy Usagi Yojimbo! section before anywhere else. And if you weren't, then nevermind. :)

I noticed Stan shares his name with two Iron Chefs.

Masahiko Kobe and Hiroyuki Sakai <-- Useless TV knowledge.

[EDIT]---Looks like go beat me to the eBay response.

I was referring to sellers who might sell single cards ....

I bought a complete set off ebay a couple years ago just so I could add this card to my collection.

The first trading card I ever bought was the Sergio Aragones card from this set, autographed, from a local comic shop in the early 90's.

Abayo....

I don't think it should hurt to mention (favorite) local comic shops by name on the forum here, as long as it doesn't get obsessive or start becoming an advertising medium.
