Definitely cool....
a very nice way of wishing everybody visiting the Dojo forums a Happy New Year.

Out of curiousity, where is the image of Young Usagi after the "Fun" heading from? I did not recognize that one.

(Glad you survived the New Years rioting intact :D )

The original can be found here:

If you look in the AWA folder you'll see a cool pic of Stan in front of Stone Mountain (Georgia).

Cool....
OK, most of that stuff is original art and, of course the finger puppets, but where are the "stan sakai model sheet #1 and #2 for roleplaying figures" from? Have those two pages ever been published?

Great Stone Mountain photo 8) .....

Gaffey, Is that your photo album?

I wish! I wanted that Snow Bunny piece. :) It belongs to john h. You should check out his collection at http://www.comicartfans.com. It's incredible.

I don't think those model sheets were ever published.

If Todd want to put it on the first page, that's ok for me (of course if Stan and Amy are OK)

Your french is very elegant ! but perhaps you make me too honor...

Chapeau = hat, bas = low
This expression comes from "La Belle Epoque" (you know Lautrec - Montmartre - cancan - Louys ...) where gentlemen wearing hat, they usually did not put off, but when there were in front of honorable people they did bow and put low their hat. Now we use this expression when we see very impressive and beautiful piece of Art : Chapeau bas ! it indicates our profound respect, admiration and humility...

when i saw your last piece of Art, i have only this words...

Very nice.

And I think that is Jay Hostler's drawing of Usagi sitting on the rock.

How interesting. I thought it was like the American saying "Hats off to you." It also came from a tradition off taking off your hat as a sign of respect. Now it means something like "congratulations" when someone does something exceptional. Artwork or otherwise. You just want to let the person know you're impressed with their accomplishment, as well as happy for them in their success.
