High School Reunion Question For Stan

Post by Steve Hubbell »

Hi Stan,
Will Kaimuki High School class of '71 be celebrating their 35th anniversary this year? I ran across their web-page recently and was surprised that they did not have any reunion information for that class.
(I did find your relatively recent Alumni letter :D )

I still keep in contact with a few of my friends from the high school days, and they would let me know of any upcoming reunions.

There was a Las Vegas reunion a couple of years ago when we all turned 50. I missed that.

Sharon was in the class of '72, and we went back for her 30th reunion.

I guess nobody in my class has the free time to plan a big event.

I still keep in touch with my high schoot art teacher. I last heard from her about a month ago, just when she was going to Japan for vacation. She was just in her second year of teaching when I first was in her class. She's retired now, and a grandmother!

It would have made an interesting contest, picking Sharon out of a High School Class of '72 reunion group photo, but there wasn't one posted on the Kaimuki High School web-page. Oh well. :?

Now, if we had access to a class of '71 graduation day group photo, we could have a contest to see who-all could find Stan in the photograph. :D

There were no group photos, but we did have individual pictures. Guys were wearing b&w aloha jackets (this is Hawaii, you know). I was also on the track and cross country teams, and in the math club. Yes, I was a skinny 128 lb. geek.
