My Usagi sketch card collection
I had some time yesterday to finish my sketch card page. Unfortunately I ran out of free web space before finishing.
Anyway, just click on the link below and then Usagi’s head. That should take you to the sketch card page. Most of the names under the cards are clickable for larger scans.

aw man, now I have to be jealous of Gaffey's collection of Usagi fan art as well as Colin's!
Really cool collection of artwork, and I think it would make such a great trading card set, or at least as the selling point for such a trading card set of "Images of Usagi Yojimbo" by other artists.
Out of curiousity, how large are the cards?
Also, do you plan on adding bibliographical or background info on the differant cards (i.e. when, where, and how you got the differant drawings, as well as your impressions of the artists and their reactions to your sketch requests)?
Thanks, very much, for sharing your collection with us fellow dojo members....

The cards are trading card size. About 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. They're actually the size seen on the main page. That's why most are only headshots.Steve Hubbell wrote:Out of curiousity, how large are the cards?
My stories can't compare to Colin's because I set up most of them through the internet.Steve Hubbell wrote:Also, do you plan on adding bibliographical or background info on the differant cards (i.e. when, where, and how you got the differant drawings, as well as your impressions of the artists and their reactions to your sketch requests)?
I don't know how long it actually took him to complete because I didn't meet him in person. I was given his contact info through a fellow art collector and set up a sketch.Stan Sakai wrote:How long did Ken Steacy take on his piece?

Cool! It is amazing that the artists can go such a great job on such a small canvas. The amount of background and detail in some of them make it appear that the cards are much larger.Gaffey wrote:The cards are trading card size. About 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. And I am still envious!

These are awesome!
Ryan Sook's one is cute, and Paul Gutierrez and Andy Smith's are also great. I like his cocky grin >:3

That was the second card I had done. I couldn't believe how detailed it was.hakucho wrote:Ryan Sook's one is cute
