Excellent guess.

Wait and see about the son. You may yet be surprised...
And a question regarding this story (book 13, I believe): In the story where Kagemaru betrays Chizu's orders to allow the 2 ninja to escape, it ended with the runaway escaping and hating Chizu. When is this continued?

I'll be back on when I finish Demon Mask.
That character will return in Grasscutter II.

Wow. Finished last night, but a thunder storm here prevented me from posting...

Anyway, great story (as usaul) with a great mystery. I also suspected Nitta, but it seemed more like Kojo.

And the son was a surprise. Before posting my original guess, I was only up to the panel where Usagi hid outside Kojo's house, listening to him "talk" to his son. I was wrong about him being alive, though.

That was my favorite moment in the story. I had a feeling he was just talking to himself, and that sign of instability was what first led me to believe that he was Demon Mask. You definitely beat me to the punch on that one! ;)

Just finished book 16, The Shrouded Moon, yesterday. It's interesting to see what's happening to Chizu now, with Hebi and Kagemaru trying to kill her.

(I'm just waiting untill my copy of Travels with Jotaro comes in the mail before I read Duel at Kitanoji)

Never before published in comic-form Young Usagi story.
Dark Horse Web-site Profile wrote:• Featuring a rare short story starring Katsuichi and young Usagi which has never seen print in the Usagi comics series!
It has been published previously in the "Drawing the Line" Cancer benefit Anthology, as well as the Spanish Sketch Book.

FINALLY! I found somebody else who'd rather see our rabbit ronin with Chizu over Mariko, Tomoe or Kitsune...

Duel at Kitanoji is awesome so far. I'm up to the part where Katsuichi, Jotaro, and Shunji helped the peasant and returned to his village. They're now running to attack the brigands.

Finished Duel at Kitanoji. It was sad that Koji died, he was always a good character.

It's cool to see that Usagi and Jotaro will be travelling together for awhile now...

My copy of Travels with Jotaro and Fathers and Sons are in the mail now. :D

Great minds think a like.

I've always thought that way too. And now that they're both wanderers they should hook up. Make this book a team-up.

Travels with Jotaro was excellent. It's good to see Sasuke back again (his magic is so cool 8) )

The story with Chizu was great too. I can't wait for my HC Fathers and Sons to come in the mail so I can see what happens next.

Fathers and Sons is indeed cool. In fact, it was the first UY trade paperback I ever bought! I kinda started at the end and worked backwards, for the most part.

Fathers and Sons was incredible!!! Jotaro's secret was very surprising. It was also good to see Yagi and Gorogoro. Kill The Geishu Lord! was also interesting, what with the decoy. When he died, I was shocked, as I truly believed that Noriyuki had been killed. :(

On to the comics... :D

That's what made me want to buy it. It was too good of a story to pass up! Besides, when I saw (what looked to be) Noriyuki get shot, I couldn't put it down. And I've been hooked ever since!
