Wow. I had no idea Stan was so versatile. That Silver Surfer/Galactus is breathtaking, and I'd love to see what he could do with a full shot of a Macross Valkyrie fighter!

Just noticed that, in this one, Spot is labelled as "Spot The Wonder Lizard." That's incredibly cute...

I'm a huge fan of Will Eisner's The Spirit as well. I never thought I would see a pinup with two of my favourite characters in it.

Very awesome!

PS - Everyone should pick up the new The Spirit comic coming out from DC. Drawn and written by Darwyn Cooke.

(I pimp Usagi in other comic boards, so pimping the Spirit here only seemed fair) :)

Scott Shaw! helped with with the Galactus drawing. I showed him the original before sending it in, and he said, "Galactus has square pupils."

As for the Macross drawing, Carl Macek was the Guest of Honor at Anime North. I thought it would be nice to have the con's mascot along with one of his giant robots.

Will was such a class act. After the pin-up ran in the souvenir book, he sent me a thank you card for doing the drawing.

I gave him the original the next time I saw him.
