The big hurdle would be finding a place to stay in San Diego.
Well one of the circumstances beyond my control is whether or not my best friend (who lives out there) will have time off so that I can stay there and we can attend the convention together. If he can't attend, I probably won't drive that far to attend a convention anyway.

The other circumstance beyond my control is whether I'm hired before then (so that I won't have to stay near the phone every day in case I'm called in for an interview). I just made the short list for a position (it's narrowed down to seven applicants and the principal seems to really like me), so we'll see how things go.

I have it on good authority that preregistration is running about 20% over last year. This year will be bigger than last year's 105,000 attendance. The con is seriously closing membership after 125,000, which may mean that some people registrating at the door may be turned away.

Our Groo Panel, aka The Sergio and Mark Show, will take place Thursday.

Super exciting!

Well, I got a job!!!! So now, I'm giving it an 80% chance I'll be there. Still waiting to make sure my buddy's work schedule won't conflict with attending the convention.

I really hope I get to finally meet some of you from the Dojo! Of course, I can't wait to see Stan again either :D

Paid for!

Just going Saturday.

Since it's been said they might cut off people, I'm gonna be sure I'm in.

Congratulations on your job. You must have made a great impression on your interview.

Hopefully, we'll all see you in San Diego.

Everyone's interview tips were very helpful. I'm so glad I turned to the Dojo for help on that one :D

The Programming is being posted!
http://www.comic-con.org/cci/cci06_prog_thu.php

They have Thursday up, and said they'll post a day every day.
I like that, because it gives one a chance to make some possible plans.

The Sergio and Mark Show (guest-starring Tom Luth and me) is on Thursday 3:30-4:40, and I will also be on the Dark Horse 20th Anniversary panel on Friday 11:30-12:30.

I will also be doing a signing at the DH booth on Sunday 11:00-noon.

How about we do the UYD gathering on Saturday then? Anyone have any recommendations as to the time? I know the program isn't up for Saturday, yet... Stan will you be around for preview night?

I will be there from Preview Wednesday to Sunday closing.

Saturday is a good day, because so many of the Dojo members are there--it being the most popular day.
