This was a limited edition 5 color serigraph released by Fantagraphics circa 1987. A serigraph is a silk screened print. Each color needs a separate screen and was hand printed. I indicated the colors on an overlay, and the screeners followed my directions.
This was not a very successful project, because the screeners had very limited experience with paper. Many of the prints were off-registered or printed with uneven colors, and rejected. It was printed on a very slickly coated paper, which did not help.
Fantagraphics later issued another serigraph titled Shashimono (Banners), which turned out a lot better. They used a different printer.

Is that a variation of oops?
Actually, when I set up my ebay account, usagigoya was already taken. Probably by somebody who breeds rabbits in Japan. Usagigaijin was the alternative.
Abayo....

Edit: Just checked out the final bids from the auction...
It is so totally cool when someone comes in in the last 35-40 seconds of the auction and just snatches it away from whoever had the high bid....
