i emailed 2 weeks ago Erik, who told me he had some prints in stock ant that he would give me the shipping the day after, and since i have no news...
Erik told me too that b-gevaar=Enigma
i tell you more as soon as i know...
Enigma
Dear Fanfan,
Thank you for your post.
You are about to discover why Erik's nickname is "Enigma".
I have known and worked with him over the years and already have the Belgium print.
I first connected with Erik on the internet to buy his Dutch Usagi Yojimbo comics.
Next we agreed on a trade for the Belgium print.
Enigma was having trouble getting usa eBay sellers to ship to Europe.
He told me he was getting some Batman action figures for his son.
Batman action figures began arriving at my house from Enigmas eBay auctions. Box after box of batmen, jokers, robins, penguins, cars, planes, and even a Batcave! I sent him 4 (1bushel) apple boxes of batman stuff. One box was just action figures. Another box was just capes and weapons. Batmobiles, batplanes, batboats and the Batcave crammed the other boxes. I am sorry i did not take any photographs. Looking into a big box with hundreds of Batmen, etc. was strange, something you do not see very often.
I paid the postage and Enigma paid me in Belgium prints.
A week after the prints arrived from Enigma, Sensei Sakai sends me a Belgium print as a present!
What I am interested in acquiring is Enigma's more recent Usagi Yojimbo comics. His use of other artists on the covers is most wonderful.
You are about to discover why Erik's nickname is "Enigma".
Enigma is a great person but
I think his plate is full....
I hope you enjoyed my bushels of Batmen story.
Best wishes to all!
