The only reason why Chizu, Kitsune and others do not appear in the intro was because I could not find any compatible paintings of these characters. I used what I had available.. I just found it uncanny that Stan chose the exact characters -- and only those characters -- who appear in the Flash intro..

Diana sent me the lineup of creators for UY 100:

Publisher Mike Richardson/Rick Geary
Mark Evanier/Scott Shaw!
Jamie Rich/Andi Watson
Guy Davis
Sergio Aragones
Jeff Smith
Frank Miller

and, of course, Tom Luth did the cover colors

Diana may do a page, and I will do 7-8 to bookend the other contributors.

It will be a 32 pager, with a $3.50 cover price, wraparound cover on card stock, b&w interiors.

Not only will it be listed in the catalog, but we will have the back cover.

Back cover?

Aren't the Preview catalogs set up with flip covers (i.e. two front covers) ?

Anyways, that is definitely cool news....

Will you be doing the art for the Preview catalog (back) cover?

The art will be picked up from the cover for UY 100--just the front part, so you'll just see Usagi.

The catalog does have flip covers, but the interiors are only printed one way so technically we'll have the back cover.

THAT IS FANTASTIC!

It is about time Previews has given Usagi his rightful place on the cover of their catalog, even if it is technically the back cover...

Is Dark Horse already planning on running a larger print run, or will that be determined from advanced sales?

Todd, is it safe to assume that "The Black Soul" will be appearing in the 100th issue? (#101 pretty much goes without saying...)
