Really thanks to share this project with us, it is really impressive.
As far as more pictures, post all that you can! I know I love seeing them, and I'm sure the silent majority of Usagi fans do too, even if they don't say so.

Here are some turnarounds of Usagi. I should have some updated photos next week.

Steve, if people are not too interested in doing a raffle for one of these maquettes I will just give you one instead of donating it since you were the first one to ask and seem enthusiastic about it. From the lack of response on this thread I guess people aren't too enthusiastic about it. Oh well.

Sure, stick me in a spot now. You know I would jump on the chance to own one, the photos look so cool and all, but I would also hate to deprive the Dojo of such a cool raffle prize.

I do have to admit that a lot of Dojo members and Usagi fans visit the forums irregularly, and several of the trivia contests I've attempted to instigate met with limited participation.

For something of the scope this prize deserves, Todd needs to send out a mass email notice to the whole Dojo notifying them of the raffle, after a raffling system is figured out. We definitely need imput from other Dojo members for suggestions and opinions on how we can make it work efficiently and fairly.

Or you can just give it to me, who am I to argue?

He's just roughed in right now but I thought you guys might get a kick in seeing Ino. I'll post more pictures as he is developed.

I will be posting the final sculpts of Usagi very soon as well.

Here's the final sculpt before he's baked.

Should I be posting this on the art section as well or is this the proper forum to use?

Hope you like it.

I just have to say that he is lookin' fantastic!

As for which forum to post in, this one is ok since you already have a thread going about them. You could always post some of the pictures in the fan art forum with a link bake to this thread, as well. That might generate some more replies....

Are you still planning on a variation with the hat and rain cloak?

Hey Steve,

I'm still debating on doing the "hat" variation. If I do it I will probably just do the hat and not the cloak with this figure. It would probably be an interchangeable head. Another option is to do another sculpt of Usagi with the hat, coat and have his hakama tied around the ankles with some snow shoes. I'm also thinking of including "spot" with the current maquette.

I'm not too sure yet. What do you think?

I'm also in the process of refining Ino and getting Jotaro/young Usagi started.

Very nice work so far.

And just so you know, I like the raffle idea.
