What is Ishii in 'The Withered Field'

The moment that he decides to committ seppuku he looks his most evil but I'm not sure what animal he 's based around.

What do other members think?

'The Withered Field' is the first story in Book 11 Seasons.

Good question! I have no clue, possibly a dog of some type?

He kind of reminds me of one of those little yappy dogs - bosten terrier or taco bell dog (how do you spell Chihuahua?)
