Azumi is listed in the current Diamond Previews book. I just ordered it from Gary's. I had never heard of it before.

Anyway, lol. I brought Azumi from a local DVD store, and Azumi 2 from online. Try either or both at Amazon, Play, CDWOW or eBay.
D'oh...

Shogun Assassin, Lady Snowblood and Samurai X. (Zatoichi movies are okay but there's no blood).

The new Zatoichi movie was great, and there was plenty of the red stuff.

The Seven Samurai, Yojimbo......and pretty much every period drama that Akira Kurosawa made.

These movies were so good that they defined Asian cinema internationally for years to come.

They also were the subject of a series of original graphic novels by Goseki Kojima (the artist of Lone Wolf and Cub).
