Stan Sakai at comic cons.

Does he have a list of where he is going to be? Or are there shows he appears at regularly. I was wanting to know if he might be anywhere in my neck of the woods anytime soon.. I am in NC.

We don't maintain a formal listing, but keep checking the boards here. Stan will always post his planned appearances here well in advance of when they take place.

A formal schedule of Stan's appearances actually sounds like a good idea. That way we can keep everyone informed on an ongoing basis from one source. Perhaps it is something we can collaborate with Stan on...

I'm really cutting back on my traveling this year (yeah, I said that last year, and traveled to Europe three times). My next con, after Mega Con, is San Diego in July. After that, it is the Gijon, Spain comics festival in October.

I really want to catch up on my work, and plot out the stories for the entire year. Right now, I don't really know what is happening after UY 104.

Maybe next year, I will attend those conventions I had to decline this year.

Hey mr stan,
Are you planning on taking any covers, or art with you to the megacon to put up for sale? There isent anyway I could make it down there but I know some people that live in florida so maybe I can con them into coming to see you for me

I have very few covers left, but I will bring what I have to Mega Con. I do have a lot of con drawings, though. Some of those drawings have been published on the outside back covers of UY.

The con in Gijón will be in October? Hmm... Damn! Maybe for that time I'll be studying abroad and won't be in Spain for a good while!
