Usagi TPB 8

Post by Squeakalot »

Hey,

I recently got acquainted to Usagi Yojimbo and find it an absolutely riveting comic. However, I cannot find the 8th TPB, Shades of Death, anywhere for sale. It seems to be completely sold out. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy of this? Do they reprint TPBs, by anychance?

Thanks.

In the recent Previews from Diamond Comics (largest comic distributor in North America) all the trades for Usagi by Darkhorse will be back in print in May.

I can finally get the one I'm missing. Volume 18!

Did you try Heritage Source? They're listing it on their catalog...$15

They must be in stock, because they note out-of-stock Usagi books (like the elusive Book 18!)

Wow. I didn't realize that #18 was that hard to find.

Not to hijack the thread, but if anyone is looking for #18, I have one that I'd be willing to trade for some fantagraphics back issues.

A good point with these reprints : it shows there's a lasting demand for Usagi TPBs. Getting new fans ? :)

Funny, I had no problems finding 18 in the tiny country I'm in but I'm having problems getting 8 everywhere. Well, I guess I'll wait till May.

Thanks!

I would second Todd Shogun's recommendation to try Heritage Source, they accept various payment options and ship internationally. And they list the book in stock... You would not have to wait until summer then.

Also, a late welcome to the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo! :D
