I went and voted, but there were only a handful of catagories were I felt comfortable placing a vote. I would have loved a write-in option for most of the catagories (Stan and Usagi would have qualified for several more catagories

).

Surprisingly, even the Best Comic Related Magazine catagory seemed to be a pretty limited choice.

ya, I just voted in a handful of categories - I'm not into superhero books so I don't know many of the nominees.

Todd: I think it's a great idea to send this out. I bet a lot of people on this forum would love the opportunity to vote for Usagi who might otherwise miss the chance!

And for Blacksad: Red Soul! If you like talking animals (and if you can find a copy) I insist that you read the Blacksad series. Absolutely breathtaking art with a cool crime noir story.

I have been trying to find Blacksad in English for awhile. So far no luck.

Who would've thought voting would be so engrossing? If I wasn't familiar with the majority of the nominees in a category, I had to research them! Well, at least the ones I could (visiting websites, checking out cover scans, etc). Made for a nice distraction from studing for the Graduate Record Exam!!
