Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Is "juudai" japanese for "teenage".

Indeed. It's usually written
十代 , 十 meaning "ten" and 代 "generation". It's the same "dai" as in
"jidaigeki" .
Oh, by the way, it's a name ("the teens"), not an adjective. Trying to translate
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" ?
