General discussion about Usagi Yojimbo, the comics, the stories, the characters, collectibles, TV appearances, Stan Sakai, Space Usagi, Nilson & Hermy, and all other related topics.
I’d been planning to register with the Dojo for a while now. I even tried once, but I never received my registration email so I couldn’t activate my account, hence the “2” in my user name. Time passed.
Then after meeting Stan Sakai at the MegaCon in Orlando, I wrote about it on my comic blog at http://www.comicbrain.com. It was the highlight of the con for me. Anyway, I noticed a couple of visitors showing up at my site from the Dojo, and then Stan himself visited my site and was kind enough to leave a comment.
It was clearly time for me to join the Dojo.
I’ve been reading the tales of the ronin rabbit for a while now. I have just about every Usagi comic book and appearance, with the exception of the Albedo issues. Now I even have a signed edition of the Art of Usagi Yojimbo hardcover as a result of meeting Stan at the MegaCon.
I’m afraid I’m starting to ramble, so with that I just want to say "hello" and that I’m happy to finally be here.
Is there a chance of you sharing the sketch in you Art of UY book ??
It's not a must, mind you...I'm just curious (call me nosey ).
Greetings from overseas

Welcome to the Usagi Dojo, Mister Brain. (I guess calling you Comic-San would be more in tune with the forum)
I hope you didn't mind that I posted a copy of your "Tales of the Comic Brain" blog concerning Stan Sakai and Megacon on the forum here (along with a link to the original page). http://www.usagiyojimbo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2825
I also second the motion or request for the sharing of your convention drawing. It is always cool to see what Stan has drawn for people.
I'm hoping to get a new scanner in the not too distant future and as soon as I do I'll post a scan of the sketch. And as Stan said, it is Usagi on a little island in the ocean. It's excellent.

I don't mind at all. I'm happy that you found the blog and thought it worthy of posting.
If the preference is to have me post the image into a forum post let me know. I need to modify some of the permissions on my site to allow the dojo to access images on my server.

Question: Out of curiousity, why is the image on your site so far down the page with nothing above it?
The sketch is supposed to be at the top of the post. There must be something wrong with my page. Would you mind telling me which OS and browser you are using? (Feel free to email me at brain@comicbrain.com if you don't want us to veer too far off topic in the forum.)
My monitor / screen width might be too narrow for your page set-up? Usually the web page just needs to be scrolled horizontally when it is wider than the screen wirth.
