My thirst for more Usagi Yojimbo books...

My hunger for more Usagi books can never be satisfied.Once I finish one book I MUST have more.It is like an addiction.Is there anybody who can help me with this problem???

Heritage Source is a good place to order Usagi books. Carolyn is very pleasant and easy to deal with. Here is the Usagi section of their site:

I read nearly every Usagi story ever written in the span of a month and a half. I can honestly say all that time at my local coffee shop, savoring issue after issue, was probably the high point of my comic book reading hobby, as well as a fond point in my life in general, but my regret since then is having to wait a little over a month for each new issue to come out. So my recommendation is to pace yourself. You'll be sad when it's all gone.

I have to agree with shaxper. When I almost completed my Usagi trade collection I was reading like three books a day. When I finally sat down to read Glimpses of Death I almost hesitated reading it. I had become spoiled, reading massive amounts of great stories that took years to create in a manner of a few weeks. It was a bitter sweet moment to be sure.

Then I placed my order for Volume 21 and started feeling better.

The problem is that I stay up late at night just to read Usagi Yojimbo comics.I just have to finish it.If I leave one book unfinished I won't be able to have a good night's sleep because I keep thinking bout that book.
I think that I spoil myself too much with Usagi comics.

It'll be even worse when you have to wait more than a month for a new issue. Poor Stan does all that work by himself. God bless him for getting it out as fast as he does.

Honestly though, I think it might be more rewarding to pace yourself and savor that experience of thinking about the book. Usagi stories are potent and have a tendency to stay with you in a very meaningful way, but if you read them all at once (as I did), you lose much of that lingering effect. I regret that. Stan has the ability to make a single panel stay with me for weeks after reading an issue. When I think of all the panels and entire issues that I sped through the first time around, I'm sad for having missed all of that.

Take your time. Savor them.

I once read a single Usagi book 6 times .It was Usagi Yojimbo book 6 by Fantagraphics.I had me sooo moved.I wish that Stan could make Usagi and Mariko get together .
