My next appearance will be at the Obon Matsuri (Day of the Dead Festival) at the Pasadena Buddhist Temple in Pasadena, CA July 14.
Then off to the Comic-Con International in San Diego July 24-29.
Lausanne Book Festival in Switzerland in early September.
Gijon Comics Festival in Spain in mid-October.
I have also received two invitations from major conventions in North America for 2008, but it is a bit premature to announce these.

Chicago in 2009 would be great!
My younger nephew Jacob will have his thirteenth birthday that summer and he is extremely envious of Nick meeting you and Sergio and really wants to go to a comic convention. He has been told that he can go to one for his thirteenth birthday (give or take a couple months).

I have not been to Chicago for about 5 or 6 years. I would love to go back.

Bummer. I have always wanted to meet you in person. I will be sending some books to San Diego to have you sign though.Stan Sakai wrote:Sorry, no.jpusczek wrote:Thank you Stan for the reply. Any chance one of the unamed shows is Chicago WW??

Carolyn e-mailed me that she will have copies of UY Book 21 trade at my signing at the Pasadena Obon Matsuri on July 14.
If you want a signed copy, Heritage Source is a good place to order it from. She does mail order to anywhere in the world.
Unfortunately, the signed & numbered hard cover won't be out in time for the event.

I had been invited, and had accepted a few times. The last time was about 5 years ago, though.herotolegend wrote:how come ww chicago doesnt have you? are you unwilling or have they not invited u?
I was invited to WW LA this year, but had to decline because of deadlines.
There are just so many conventions throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. I have got to balance travel and work.
