Usagi Yojimbo Character Overview

As you might have noticed, the character overview contains some characters which I couldn't recognize.

They are named "unknown1" to "unknown25". If you can identify one of them, reply to this and I'll fix the links! When we can't figure out anyone else, anymore, I'll bother Stan But that man has a monthly comic to do, so I'd like to do most of the work ourselves.

Hints:

- The woman at the far left, next to Sanshobo.
- The father with son between Inazuma and Ikeda
- What's the name of Zato Ino's wife and child?
- Who are the four persons next to the single Neko ninja in the middle?
- Is the girl in front of Ishida's wife really Fumiye?
- Can't recognize any of the persons who are about too loose their kite
- Who are the persons behind Lord Noriyuki?
- Who stands to the left and right of Lady Maple (it's her, isn't it?)
- Who are the two playing children behing Usagi?

That should be all...

The character to the left of Nakamura Koji is Icho “the medicine dealer” beard and staff. I assumed since the link didn't work he was one you were missing.

Is the girl in front of Ishida's wife really Fumiye?

Looks like it to me.

Who stands to the left and right of Lady Maple

The woman to Lady Maple's left could be her servant Yoshino.

The father with son between Inazuma and Ikeda

Hiro (Son) and Noburo (Father) from the "Slavers". Looks like them to me.

Who are the persons behind Lord Noriyuki?

Possibly the head lady from the orphanage and a random orphan???

What's the name of Zato Ino's wife and child?

I think Zato Ino's wife is Fujiko. I have no idea about the child. Maybe he was named after Spot

The following are complete guesses...

The dog directly behind the woman painter might be Ando from the "Blood Wings"

The 2nd and 3rd characters to the right could be General Oyaneko and his servant servant Monshiro

The woman at the far left, next to Sanshobo

Maybe Akiko Komachi from "The Wrath of the Tangled Skein"

Maybe the old lady in front of Lord Hebi is Atsuo's mother from the "A Mother's Love" or the demon woman. Can't remember much about her, but I know she exists.

The goofy looking kids running behind Usagi are Jiro's children (Silk worker) Must be Genta (boy) and his sister's name I don't know.

I think it is Kaikei from "Death and taxes" because the thing on his back looks more like a hood than a bag for medicine. The reason why the link doesn't work is because no one has described that character, yet.

Yep, you're right.

Maybe but only because she stands close to Sanshobo. She doesn't look much like Akiko and the symbols on the Kimono are also different :-/

They are quite long.

To be honest, I can't even remember this character. You're probably right.

At least I got some of them right. I'll try a little harder next time.

The crippled man next to Lady Maple could be Matsuo who fought with Usagi and is the father of Chiaki.

Unknown 17 - Shunji (Katsuichi's student)?

He looks a bit like Shunji but why would Stan draw "current" versions of all characters and an aged version of Shunji?

Heh She's a hard one because she is cut at the border. Well, I guess one which Stan will have to identify.

Well, I'm working on an online character editor which should allow for adding the missing character sheets, soon. For then, the links won't work but the titles should be correct.

Anyone an idea who the missing characters could be?

Noone posted here for a long time, so I don't know will my post be readed, but...
I belive that "unknown 4" is General Fuji.

I'll hafta go look to figure out some of those, but this one is just a guess but didn't someone at some point say that unknown8 is supposed to be a representation of Stan himself? It could be another character, but I thought that was the specualtion at some point, of course, since he's on here from time to time, one could always ask him.

I just checkesd out the image, and yeah, it might be Stan. I mean look at the hair(both his avatar here and in some other of his sketches have got this kind of hair cut) and his drawing/painting something, so I guess that's him.
