I was browsing through the web, when I came across this audio file borrowed from the score of the new TRANSFORMERS movie. It's the main theme used for the Decepticons, the robotic "bad guys" in the film. The composer is Steve Jablonsky.
Listening to it, I can't help but feel this would be a near-perfect theme for Jei. Something that doesn't neccessarily go straight for the throat, but instead sounds a little more sinister and brooding. What do you guys think?

That's not a bad idea. It'd be pretty cool if the score for an imaginary USAGI YOJIMBO movie were to be entirely comprised of music taken directly from feudal Japan - no modern instruments involved.
I think the theme is evil enough, but it starts up a little slow. For a while the music is mild, which isn't a bad thing, you'd just have to have Jei slowly walking in the woods towards the camera, with the rising sun behind him.
