Open mysteries: Lord of Owls and one or two strangers

Hi,

While going through my UY comics once more, I noticed that there are some open threads:

- The Lord of Owl "threatened" Usagi that they would meet again.

- In UY Book "Seasons", there is a panel between "The Patience of the Spider" and "The Lord of Owls" (page 119) where Usagi is pursued by a stranger. Since he has a beard on his chin and the Lord of Owls doesn't, I take these are different men.

- Another stranger hides in the crowd in "Lightning Strikes Twice" (UY Book "The Brink of Life and Death" page 181). I think this is another man, because his chin also looks different from the other two men.

Did you already reveal these storylines or is that still in the queue?

Hi, Digulla! Those are mysterious characters that Stan Sakai hasn't brought back yet, but said their stories are floating around somewhere in the back of his head. I can't wait to see these two priest-type guys again either! And I'm convinced that the Lord of Owls is just that under his hat: a big owl-face (which would be cool since we've got rats, cats, bats, dogs, moles and rabbits in Usagi's world but no bird-faced people)!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers this guy. He's been driving me crazy FOREVER. Who is that old coot and what does he want with Usagi? Forget the Lord of Owls, I want to know who NPC #113 is!!

I had wanted to bring this character back in UY #64 in a story called "Tamago" (Egg). Usagi and Jotaro meet a Zen priest. Later, they foil an attempted assassination of a merchant by a local gang boss. The merchant hires Usagi as a yojimbo (bodyguard) as he travels to the area magistrate.

However, the story has changed a bit over the years and a new character was created for this. I'll bring back that bearded priest in another story.

Right now, that big guy from "Lightning Strikes Twice" is tentatively slated for a return in UY #66. That story "The Return of Sasuke" is still in a rough plot and hasn't been written yet so that may change as well.

I loved him. I am thrilled to see him coming back! Maybe he will show Usagi's boy a little magic beside the reagular kind your kids can do, l
Like make stuff disappear, make you question your intelegence and reallity, vanish at the first sign of being in trouble.
(lol can you tell I have a 3 year old son that makes my life a blast? )
