You can also buy Usagi Yojimbo comics from shops in Mexico.....

Comicastle has current issues listed, and the service I received from them when I purchased a Mexican comic from them was quite decent.

Hi there, I live in San Diego, and I can tell you that it won't be easy to track down back issues of Usagi in one place. I would first go to:

Southern California Comics
8280 Clairemont Mesa Bl. #124
San Diego,CA. 92111
(858)715-8669

They are closed Mondays, but are open from Tuesday through Friday 11:00-6:00, Saturday 10:00-5:00, Sunday 12:00-5:00.

They have a pretty good seletion of back issues, and a couple of old fantagrphics issues (even #1, last I was there). They also have a few Mirage issues, but mostly Dark Horse. Its a good place to start though.

They are also some other stores, like:
Comickaze
5517 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
San Diego, CA
(858) 278-0371

They will mostly have a backstock of the most recent issues, but they DO however carry a large supply of trade paperbacks, at least 75% of the whole line. Its worth a look, and actually it is just a few blocks west on the same street as Southern CA Comics.

Hope this helps a bit...

Don't bother with Mile High, they are the biggest rip off site I've ever seen. Maybe they have some stuff that you might have to search a bit for normally, but they are so overpriced it offends me. I'd rather make a few phone calls or look on ebay than ever give them my money.

Honestly, I haven't bought anything from Mile High since the mid-90's, so you may be correct.

However, I remember them being a fairly decent place to order from back in the day.

Dear Readers,
Once or twice a year Mile High Comics has a half price sale for those hard to find items.
You might want to get their email newsletter.
Best wishes to all!
