I am looking foward to both of them!!

dororo particulary that are only 3 volumes I think..

black jack I have a lot of them, I will only buy the ones that I a missing.I have the ones that glenat licensed some years ago in Spain.

Here are some more details on Vertical's upcoming Black Jack editions (coming Fall 2008):

This article mentions that Hitachi recently licensed Black Jack to be a spokesman for its line of medical equipment, which I think is kind of funny.

There are 4 Dororo volumes. There were supposed to be much, much more, but the series was discontinued. Too bad. This is one of my favorite Tezuka stories.

There is a feature film in the works (or it could already be completed), in which Dororo is a teenage girl instead of a boy.

thx for the info stan!!I saw the press releases of vertical and they were only three,perhaps the last one is for the ending of 2008!!

Or they could be repackaging the series in three books. The last story in Dororo volume 1 is continued in volume 2. There was also a 26 episode anime that I had never seen, but would like to get my hands on.

Apparently the movie is already out on DVD. It was a Hong Kong production shot in New Zealand. Here is a link to a trailer:
