Usagi in Donatello

Post by Stan Sakai »

I just noticed on E-Bay that there is a copy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Donatello one-shot for sale (current bid: $.50, with 5 days to go). I think that has the first Usagi/TMNT crossover to see print. I had sent Peter and Kevin a fan letter for their (then)new comic book series, and had enclosed a quick sketch of our characters. A few months later, I was surprised to see that it was used as the inside back cover. I was upset, but only because if I had known it was going to be published, I would have done a much better drawing.

I bring this up because that was one of the questions that was asked during the DVD interview (What was the first time our characters met?), and we could not find a copy of that particular issue in the Mirage archives. No doubt it will be tracked down and the image will be seen in the interview.

Greetings Stan, just wanted to ask you, what DVD interview are you referring to? I don't know if I missed something somewhere along the lines, but if you are interviewed on a DVD somewhere, I don't have it and would love to own it, so please clue me in. Thanks!
