Haikus inspired by Usagi

Post by Lady Keiko_ronin Usagi »

Usagi

A long-eared ronin
Wanders through the endless night
Going where his heart follows…

Here Comes Kistune!

The pretty vixen
Meets a rhino and rabbit.
Oh, here comes trouble!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are some of the few attempted haikus inspired by our long eared hero and friends. I did these last year, but I did'nt have the nerve to post them. I'm working on a couple more, plus a longer poem based on Usagi's thoughts and feelings on experiences of being a masterless samurai. They'll be posted up soon, possibly tonight or next week. (the haikus arent probably even right) I hope ya'll enjoy these!

Love the first one, like narration to short story. Second one, that made me laugh alittle.

I'll go ahead and even give it a shot. Lets see...

No bath was taken
Zato Ino fallows you
Now, were is that soap?
"From that day on, this world would be my world. A jungle where it's survival of the fittest, where people act like animals. I had chosen to walk the darkest path in life..."

Thanks, estee. Thought it was cute.
Ca7nk, thanks for the positve feedback. Personally, I like the second one better. The one about Kitsune was inspired by "The Shrouded Moon"
Usagi's was, well, something I came up with while reading one of the older stories....
