Is anyone else here interested in Lucid Dreaming? It's pretty interesting stuff. I've managed to have a few short lucid dreams, but I haven't had any in a while. I really wish I was better at having lucid dreams; they can be pretty fun.

If you're interested in this subject, a couple of movies that are worth seeing are Richard Linklater's Waking Life and Satoshi Kon's Paprika.

Amusing dream, this.

So, the earliest I can recall was that I was somehow in the posession of a new Usagi Yojimbo comic ( hooray! ), but couldn’t read any of the text inside of it ( boo… ). So I just decided to look at the pictures to see if I could make any sense of the story.
I remember it had something to do with a child of a village who was accused of being cursed by a witch, because he had some kind of mental illness, so he had to take refuge in this old woman’s home. Inside, the home was circular, with what looked like bamboo-mat flooring. It also seemed to sit directly above a stream, and I could hear water running.
At this point, the scene became less like a comic and more like watching a TV show, and I was the camera filming it all. I remember the scenery changing from it’s black-and-white line-art roots to a full colour, realistic setting. Though everyone was still anthropomorphic animal-people.
There’s a ruckus outside as the villagers find out that the ‘cursed’ kid is hiding in the old woman’s house, and they start trying to bust in and set fire to the place, because apparently that was the only way to cleanse it. The kid cries, scared, but the old woman somehow wraps him in a basket thing and drops him into the stream outside, letting him float away.
At this point the dream changes, and I’m walking alongside Stan Sakai, who had apparently been explaining to me this story all along, to see if I liked it( since when was I a reliable story critic?! ). I told him that it was pretty cool, but that the locations didn’t make much sense, and he responded saying he’d based them off of the place we were walking in.
I look around at the area, which was your average park-side street. We were walking along a small grassy patch that was beside the pavement, and, across a main road was an office complex or something with a scaffold infront of it. It looked… nothing like what I saw in the comic, yet I was oddly convinced that it was exactly like it. XD
Suddenly Stan crosses the road for some reason, and I go to follow, only for my legs to go all jelly-like in the middle of the road, forcing a car to pull an emergency stop before running me over. Argh. I head back to the side I’d come from, and wonder how I’m going to get across, wishing there was a pedestrian crossing nearby, even though I glanced straight at one and just… didn’t acknowledge what it was.
Suddenly, though, I was just… at the other side of the road, with no explanation of how I got there, and was walking behind Stan, asking him something. Then suddenly the area opened out into my bathroom and I was having a bath ( alone, not with Stan. Stop looking at me like that. XD ).
My details here are fuzzy, all I can really remember was a Meowth toy, some eye-dropper thing, and some orange dye that leaked out and went over my leg. I woke up shortly after that.
