Hey folks, I bought an Usagi watch from this guy on ebay, and he apparently has more of them. See here:

Hopefully I did the HTML right. Anyway, it came really fast, and in great shape. I know $50 might be a bit much to some people, but I felt it was totally worth it considering you can't buy them direct anymore. So if you've been looking, here ya go!

Leaky battery
Dear Readers,
My jeweler recommends changing the battery because of age.
He thinks the battery may leak and ruin the watch.
FYI
Best wishes to all!

is this legit?
wondering if any licensing deal was made for these clocks n watches.
this strikes me as stealing from the creator or other license holder.
like can anyone photocopy a picture and make, say a t-shirt? arent there laws against that?
no one seems to think that in the posts i've read here.,

The watches were authentic licensed merchandise.ricksam wrote:wondering if any licensing deal was made for these clocks n watches.

Unfortunately, the couple clocks which showed up on ebay were never authorized. Stan Sakai was notified as to the seller's name and address, once it became apparent that the clocks were not just a "one-time" thing. The seller has since discontinued offering them for sale.
