Does anyone else think the piece a little bit 'off'? Is this a real piece by Stan?

Actually, I think it looks a lot like Stan's style around 1990.

It's not the art that I think is off. I think it's the 'box' thats throwing me for some reason. How the ground is the top of the 'box'. It feels to me that something should be in there. Like a 'To Billy' or something.

I know its just me, but it seems empty. The box, not the picture.

On the plus side I like the blood on the sword!

That really is my drawing. It's one of those freebie sketches I used to do back then. It's nice that he got it framed.

He would probably get more bidders if he has spelled "Usagi" correctly.
