Death Bed: The Bed That Eats!

Post by Ben »

Ever wondered what the weirdest movie of all time would look like?

Yes, DEATH BED: THE BED THAT EATS is the actual title. And yes, it really exists.

I've just seen the film for myself, and for the life of me I can't begin to describe it. Eighty minutes of pure fever dream. You almost have to decide for yourself how "good" or "bad" it really is. Me, I loved it, but only because I get a kick out of obscure cult flicks.

Bizarre, this movie has good comments with at the same time a poor 5.1 on imdb...
My favorite seventies and eighties fantastic movie maker is Dario Argento. About a unique experience, i think for the moment David Lynch's eraserhead is my reference.

I might need to give this movie a look sometime.

Has anyone ever seen a 70s Japanese movie called House? It has a piano that eats people. It might be just as crazy as Death Bed, if not more:

Looks appropriately bonkers. The most unpleasant aspect of Japanese horror movies is that you never know what's going to happen to you where or when, or even why.
