After a long search, Scott McLemee finally found a recording by a pair of Russian conceptual artists who created a song that most people will despise, as determined by a survey they conducted.

The worst song I ever heard on a CD was "Hotel California" , recorded in 2004 by American Idol reject William Hung. I probably have aound 30 differant cover versions of the song done by miscellaneous performers besides the Eagles, but the William Hung version is the only one bad enough I refused to add to my little collection.
