I'm assuming you already have the Albedo NR 2 t-shirt, which is still available. I want to do some new ones for Usagi's 25th Anniversary...not sure on the design just yet however.

No, I don't! Must check that out.

Still love the Usagi 'chop' design. Sold out via DH though.

Maybe you could do something similar to the Albedo NR 2 design, but with
Fantagraphics' UY #1 cover?

Any word on the black version of the Albedo t-shirts being available?

Well, whatever the design-- since it's the 25th anniversary, what about silver on black?

I doubt the black Albedo NR2 t-shirts will be made available beyond the ones released at SDCC a couple years ago. I was going to release them when the white and gray ones sold out...but they never did! Heritage still has L, XL, and XXL for sale.

Silver on black...now that sounds awesome!! Will definitely look into it...Any suggestions on a design from fans out there?

Blue with a rabbit footprint mon please?

Post by go »

Dear Mighty Shogun,
Would it be possible to make a tshirt look like the blue top Usagi usually wears with the rabbit footprint mon on the front and the Dojo name, etc, on the back?
The colar overlap and belt could also be drawn on the shirt...
Best wishes to all!

I think a great contest opportunity would be to have several of the talented fan artists from the Dojo Boards submit designs for a new t-shirt and have Mr. Sakai and others vote on them.

I have seen several independent designs that would look great on a shirt.

With all due respect to the talented artists lurking on the dojo forum, I'd rather have a Stan Sakai picture.

Or Stan's Usagi standing on a pile of dead Usagi's drawn in the various styles of the Dojo members. The one true champion.

Heh.

Actually that's not far off one idea I had...

The 25 faces of Usagi-- one headshot for each year, showing how some of the style has changed-- yet how much it has remained the same.

That's the front.

On the back-- I like that idea of Stan's Usagi on the bodies of the fan ones (or even a few by the pros, like Eastman, Laird, Aragones, and countless others...)

cynlee-
I like your idea of the evolution of usagi. i think that should be the back of the shirt.
With the front of the shirt being something simple like "25 years of Usagi" or a date or something.
Ya know, something small on the chest sorta thing.
