Usagi Birthday Marathon

Post by Space Wolf »

Next week is my 33rd birthday. My family has been asking me what I want for my birthday and I keep replying gift cards to Barnes and Noble. So, when the gift cards come a rolling in, I have a secret plan. I am going to order book 21, Space Usagi and the Art of Usagi, and do a major Usagi marathon read. I figure this, by the time I finish reading trades 1-21, book 22 will have come out, and I can then read it.

I'm clearing up my comic reading schedule now so I can begin the marathon.

I must say, I am very excited about this idea.

Interesting reading marathon. I am sure that you will pick up lots of details and see things that you have never noticed before when you read each comic as part of a continuous story rather than reading them as individual, isolated stories

Thank you for the birthday wishes, Ronin!

Jeremy- I agree 100%. I've read through to trade 10 and then got side tracked, so I am looking forward to start at the beginning again. I'm looking forward to seeing the characters grow with each story and see how Usagi's look slowly changed from when the book first came out to how he looks today.

I read the trades all the way through about once a year or so, usually during the summer. It never gets old. You're in for a treat :)

Thank you, Maka and Thomas. I received some gift cards to Barnes and Noble last night from some relatives, so I am going to order the Usagi trade 21, Space Usagi and Art of Usagi books tonight.

I just ordered my books. Within a few days I will have them. I can't wait. I think I will read Space Usagi first since I have never read that book and have been so curious about it. Then the marathon will begin.
