Mouse Guard and Motor City Comic Con!
On Saturday, May 17th I made the trip down to the Novi Comic Con. Once again it was a great time. I spoke with Billy Tucci (he always has great stories) and even met Chris Claremont of Marvel/X-Men fame. My two favourite items from the con though that I took home? The Mouse Guard print that I picked up and I got David Petersen to sign my Mouse Guard Hard Cover. He even did a little sketch in it for me. Very friendly guy and he knows his He-man and the Masters of the Universe.

I did not know that. I worked on a bunch of the He-Man in-pack comics for Mattel back in the 80's-early 09's.MikeM wrote: ...and he knows his He-man and the Masters of the Universe.

I seem to remember hearing Dave Stevens working on one of those.
I had He-Man toys as a kid and therefore some of those comics. I wonder which ones I had? Wow, if only the little boy version of me then knew to hold onto them I might have them now to look back on.
That's pretty cool that you worked on them, Sensei, and same with Dave Stevens.

"While the creative team is celebrating the milestone, they are hard at work on a number of upcoming book projects. Two intriguing crossovers have been approved: a Tarzan and Groo teamup and, most interestingly, a Conan and Groo battle. "Groo is a champion and Conan is a champion. So who's going to win?" Aragonés asks with a laugh."

your opponent is always yourself."

<Sigh> ...and now, Sensei, do you have the faintest idea which of those stories you've been working on? I mean, for a unfortunately-not-being-teen-anymore like myself it's pretty hard to go through all of those mini-comics looking for your work....
Greetings from overseas

I worked on a bunch when Mattel did it themselves. DC comics packaged these books before I was involved. I worked on so many, that I've forgotten which ones. They were pretty much very similar, and done very quickly. Most of those I worked on had credits telling who the writer, penciller, inker, colorist, and letterer was.Space Wolf wrote: Which one did you work on?
