I got the following error trying to upload my avatar. I tried this method after it failed when I tried to add via url.

Just one thing: I find flicker on the screen very irritating. Can you please use a still GIF for an avatar and signature?

You images are animated GIFs which change/flicker/move all the time. It's irritating, because human eyes are inadvertedly drawn to any movement. For our ancestors, this was a survival skill but today, it makes it hard to concentrate on the content of the dojoboard.
So please use stills.
