Another Usagi sketch giveaway...
Stan has agreed to do 2 sketches for board members at MegaCon.
I'll mail the sketch to each fan for free.
Last time, I did it for the international fans. So this time it's for the
U.S. fans.
Here's the rules:
1. U.S. fan
2. Doesn't already have a sketch from Stan.
3. Won't see Stan in the near future at a con or appearance (6 months).
4. First 2 people to reply to this thread that meet the 1st 3 rules.
5. Sketch MUST be personalized.
Good luck,
John H.

It's already been said, but here it is again:
This is really generous and caring of both of you; thank you very much for your trouble and concern, John H. and Stan Sakai!
And congratulations to the winners! I hope you'll grant us the privilege to see some scans/photos of these sketches, right?!

Yeah, I'll scan mine and post it when I get it. I'll get a nice frame for it too.Thomas Froehling wrote:It's already been said, but here it is again:

Thanks, you've made my day! I live somewhere that has very few comic book conventions, let alone any that Stan goes to, and I don't travel very much, so I don't have many opportunities to get sketches.
This just goes to show that you meet some pretty cool and generous people on the Internet sometimes! I actually once got a lobby card signed by Italian horror legend Dario Argento like this once!

your opponent is always yourself."

I just want to thank the both of you (Mr. Sakai and John) for their generosity. I have been reading Usagi since I was a kid (now I'm an "adult").
Every Friday my mom, sister, and I had family dinner out somewhere in downtown Bloomington, IN. I would always walk down the street to Vintage Phoenix (our comic shop) and pick up Usagi from my box. I couldn't believe they let a 10 year old have a reserve box!! Then I would read Usagi at the table (secretly).
Sorry for the personal stories, but I really respect an artist's dedication to his/her fans.
Simply, thank you.
