Giveaway closed.

Yes. It was a new giveaway for SAN DIEGO.

I'll PM the winners later for specifics.

Sorry if there was any confusion.

Like Monkey I don't know why it was posted a second time, but, I meet the requirements also. I would be extremely excited if I were to get a personalized sketch!

Lol, I guess if I would have read the posts beyond Monkeys I wouldn't have posted the previous post. Ah well, it's all good!

This is really cool and I wanted to personally thank both John H. and Mr. Sakai for their kindness and for their time. It is much appreciated.

Thank you to John and Stan for offering this to us board members. It is really cool that Stan does that for his fans. Even cooler because I was sad I wouldn't make it to see Stan this year. I have been out of town for work it seems forever and even when he's in my own back yard.

Thanks guys!

Thanks should all go to Stan.

I only post confusing threads... :P :P

John H.

P.S.: This way all 'true' Usagi fans don't have to look on eBay to get 'con style' sketches (which Stan has virtually stopped drawing due to those eBayers).

Well, this thread is re-opened again.

Stan has graciously agreed to draw for 2 board members.

One is already reserved for TRU2GZUS for his goateed Usagi.

The final ONE can be yours if you meet the following requirement:

A) Has not received/bought a drawing directly from Stan (also will not

see Stan at an appearance within the next 6 months).

The drawing is free and there'll be no charge for postage.

One Usagi character on 9"x12" bristol.

First one that posts and is qualified, gets the spot.

Good luck,

John H.

P.S.: The drawing will be completed at Emerald City Comicon, next

month.

One of these days I'm going to qualify for this! I just saw Stan on Saturday, but had no cash (thanks again EECU!) for a commission. Whatever the case, patience and perseverance right?

Good luck folks!

I have no drawings from Mr. Sakai and I will not see him for the next six months. However, I did ask him to do a commission for me at Kawaii-Kon in April (which I can't attend, but my brother will). Any chance that I still qualify?

Runnah4life808,

Well since you have a request with Stan already, you're not eligible.

This is only a freebie sketch, not as finished as a 'commission'. If you

aren't able to get something at Kawaii-Kon, then we'll set something

up for you for San Diego.

Tayocham,

Although I really like your Pete Townshend icon, you live too close

to Stan to qualify. How have you not been able to see Stan and get

a sketch at his many Southern California appearances ?

(e.g. Pasadena Buddist Temple, Pasadena Library, Alhambra Holiday

Boutique, Things from Another World appearance)

O.k., if no one else posts that's qualified within 1 week, it's yours.

Sorry for the semi-rant.
