I got my copy of Sketchbook 5 yesterday! It's awesome. Thank you so much Stan.

Quick question though, are you no longer numbering the sketchooks?

I stopped doing that. It turned out to be too much of a bother trying to remember what number I have to start with, and which bundles of 25 to take to cons. I give away a lot of Artist Proofs to friends and other pros, so that messes up the numbering. Instead of editions of 750, they are really editions of about 700.

In short, it was too much of a hassle, and most people did not care about the numbering anyway. They were happier that there was a sketch in each book.

I believe I have sent out sketchbooks to everyone who ordered them. If you had ordered one, sent payment, but have not received it, please PM me.

If you sent me mail in the past few days, I might not have received it yet.

To be honest I didnt care abou the numbering either. I love the sketch, and the card (thank you again!)

I was just curious as I was looking over all 5 of the sketchbooks I noticed number 5 was not numbered so I thout I would ask.

Stan will these be available at the Pasadena Buddhist Church tomorrow? Is this still going on? I had it in my calendar.

I can't make it to Comic Con, but would love to grab this and other commissions from you.

Thanks.

Yes, I will be at the Obon Festival Saturday from 5 PM (probably a little later, because I like to see what they have at the rummage sale). I don't bring any art of sketchbooks to these things, unless you have made prior arrangements.

Gaah! I totally missed out on this. Sadly I'm not going anywhere near any of the cons for the foreseeable future. Ratz!

Thomas! yes, I am indeed a fan of the tentacle. Indeed!

Fanfan! you big show off - you know I covet that tentacle piece of yours almost more than anything. I'm glad it is truly appreciated by its owner though. ( if you ever tire of it let me know! )

I KNEW I'd messed up!

When I asked you at comic-con if I'd reserved anything, and you said "no", I was like "hmm..."

And now I know why! I had said in a thread but NOT in a pm that I needed to get a sketchbook for Leonardo-san!

I am brain-dead! I hope you have some available. I've PMed you, but I feel the need to say it here where the world can revile me for being so careless!

Just got back from our holiday trip and found three issues of Groo waiting in the mail, alongside with sketchbook # 5 plus Mouse Guard Color Sketchbook! Whow, what a way to return....

My thanks go to Mayhem for the sketchbooks; they arrived in top condition.

@ Sensei: I can't say I like the way your introduction was cut short...

I ordered a bunch of books from Bud Plant just last week, including the watercolor paintings of Steve Hanks (with a signed book plate) and Geisha: A Unique World of Tradition, Elegance and Art (14.95 for a illustrated hardcover).

I have been ordering from Bud for almost 30 years. He is one of the most reputable dealers in the business, and everything is packed very well.
