Albedo 2
I think I just saw estee nab a CGC copy of Albedo 2 on Ebay! Wow, congrats on getting it. Someday I'll find one I can afford. *sighs wistfully*

What was weird was that I had the only bid for like the entire time it up for sale.
Only one guy bid against me at that was on the last day and he/she never showed up again. Pissed me off, actually, cuz it increased the price on me. I think he was a ringer trying to scare up interest.
Still, not a bad price for a VF copy.
Certainly better than a grand it usually goes for.

That's cool! I know what you mean about wanting to pry it open. I'd be so tempted.
And to be honest, if it's below a 9 and you wanted to resell it, people would say 'hey, it's only VF+ as CGC graded it' and would only want to pay so much. But, if you opened it and sold it (not that you would), you'd probably get more because different people might evaluate it differently and pay more based on their own grading (theoretically). Having it CGC really only makes it more valuable when it's over 9.4, in my opinion.
So, if you managed to pop it open without damaging the comic I don't think you'd take away from the value at all, in my opinion. If anyone can chime in a better argument, let her rip!
Being a comic collector and not being able to hold it directly in my hands is like pins and needles dude, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Lol, let me know if you do pry it open. It might be very satisfying and like I said you don't lose any value unless you damage it. How many Albedo 2's have we seen sell rather easily with a couple pictures and vague descriptions? Anyways, that's my two cents worth!
